Bio
The name Supa C originates from a childhood marked by strength, speed, and ambition. Growing up as the fastest and strongest on the field, Supa C’s athletic prowess in football and bodybuilding earned him the nickname “Superman” or “Supa Chip,” which eventually evolved into the iconic “Supa C.” This title holds deep meaning, as it serves as a constant reminder of his childhood memories and the natural abilities he was blessed with.
As a DJ, Supa C has graced the stage with some of the most legendary names in hip hop, including Busta Rhymes, Kwame, A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Special Ed, and Chubb Rock, to name just a few. His versatility as both a performer and producer has shaped the sound of countless projects, working with artists like Charon Don, Dashawn, El Da Sensai, U Turn, and BETJ.
Currently, Supa C is focused on expanding his influence in the industry with the opening of a pre-production studio, where he continues to nurture and produce new talent. He remains a dynamic presence in the hip hop scene, DJing major shows and events while consistently pushing boundaries in his craft.
Supa C’s journey owes much to the early mentorship he received. He extends special thanks to TK (Tyrone Allen) and Dave Smith from Penn Hills, who were the first to introduce him to turntables and share their knowledge. He also credits DJ Jazzy Jeff and DJ Cash Money for inspiring his craft and shaping his style through their innovative work. Above all, Supa C is deeply grateful to his parents for their unwavering support throughout his career.
